Aiming to modernize their digital presence, rue21 was looking to adopt a new CMS platform, a new commerce platform, and a new front-end experience built on React. To cater toward the brand’s youthful audience, the new experience needed to use the full capabilities of React in order to function like an app, and capture socially-driven and mobile-first preferences. The solution also needed to support internal content teams, infuse speed into operations, and further drive digital sales.
Concord designed a new shopping experience catered towards the youthful rue21 audience, and supported the implementation of a headless CMS platform.
Working closely with rue21, Concord implemented the Contentstack CMS and integrated the solution with the business’s React application. Additionally, to further modernize the rue21 shopping experience, Concord developed a full digital transformation and technology roadmap, encompassing new UX, creative and technology patterns. Concord is currently in the process of completing the Phase 2 implementation effort.
