Concord Joins PCI Security Standards Council

Concord will participate in setting key standards to protect payment cardholder data.

Concord is pleased to share we joined the PCI Security Standards Council as a new participating organization. We have assisted clients large and small with sustainable implementation of successful PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) strategies and our methodology goes beyond assessments and remediation. We partner with our clients to find cost-effective solutions that protect sensitive cardholder data, while improving operations and supporting business goals.

As a Participating Organization, Concord will have access to the latest payment card security standards, provide feedback, and become part of a growing community that now includes more than 900 organizations. In an era of increasingly sophisticated attacks on payment systems, adhering to the PCI DSS represents an entity's best protection against data cyber-criminals. By joining as a Participating Organization, Concord is adding our voice to the process and will work with the Council to evolve PCI-DSS and other card protection standards. The PCI-DSS standards, endorsed by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa Inc., requires merchants and service providers that store, process, or transmit customer payment card data to adhere to information security controls and processes that ensure data integrity.
