Concord Earns Registered Provider Organization Authorization

Technology Consulting Firm Certified as RPO in Accordance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.

Minneapolis, MN (February 11, 2021): Concord, the largest privately-held consulting firm in the Midwest, is certified as a Registered Provider Organization (RPO). With a successful history of delivering security and compliance solutions for Fortune 500 organizations across the country, Concord believes this to be the next step in helping clients achieve great cybersecurity maturity.

The Department of Defense (DoD) enacted new rules through the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), which businesses must achieve in order to be awarded new contracts by the DoD.

RPOs are trained in the CMMC methodology, pass an organizational background check, and are bound by a professional code of conduct. As such, RPOs can advise DoD suppliers on proper preparation for their CMMC assessment and certification.

“As trusted advisors to companies large and small across the nation, Concord is consistent in our effort to maintain the highest level of cybersecurity practices and provide such knowledge to our clients,” declared Rob Peterson, Concord’s Director of Information Security. “Our cybersecurity and technology consulting services ready clients for CMMC and will help them maintain ongoing compliance – a critical concern in today’s changing business landscape.”

As an RPO, Concord’s CMMC services include:

  • Preparing for a CMMC audit by establishing clear guidelines and audit frameworks
  • Undertaking gap analysis and creating overall security plans
  • Completing remedial activities and monitoring security performance
