About
Q&A

Jeff is the Chairman and Chief Visionary Officer for Concord. His role is to be aligned to key relationships, key clients, and big problems, plus assume primary responsibility for Concord's culture. Jeff's focus is to help Concord define "Delivery Excellence" on all projects. During the day-to-day, he can be found offering wisdom to sales and recruiting efforts or engaging with people in a spontaneous "pop-in" fashion in his office.

Jeff's first exposure to the technology realm was in 1995 as a salesperson and recruiter for a local company specializing in mainframe and client-server staffing. The internet was a baby, fax was king, cell phones were the size of a shoebox, and his desk was a door on top of two file cabinets. Oh, and he also played DOOM and Tomb Raider a lot. Within two years, one of the owners had left, leaving Jeff solely responsible for sales, marketing, and recruiting. With limited resources, 60-hour work weeks, and a lot of freedom to make mistakes, he was able to build that company to a revenue of $23M. After just shy of 10 years, Jeff left the company to form Concord with Chris and Stu.

Do you have any fun or exciting hobbies?
I love to coach girls soccer.
Tell us one thing no one knows about you.
I am a spatial savant and would be happy to design the addition to your house.
If you could be any superhero who would you be and why?
I never got into Sci Fi or comic books. I really liked Batman, but I have heard arguments that he is not a superhero because he has no super powers. Growing up, when I pretended to be someone, it was Pele, Steve Austin (The Bionic Man), or Officer Jim Street from S.W.A.T.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
Europe – it has great soccer.
Have you ever been told you look like someone famous? If so, who?
Someone at a Vikings game said I looked like the Allstate mayhem guy. One other time I was told I looked exactly like Matthew McConaughey. Neither of the those guys are that good looking. Oh well.
If you could have unlimited storage for one thing, what would it be?
The two things I hoard are Metamucil and Maple Syrup. Thanks, Costco!
What is your favorite summer activity?
Putzing around at my cabin.
What is your favorite TV channel?
I love NBCSN because they show Premier League Soccer.
What is one thing you did as a kid that you should have gotten in trouble for, but never caught?
I cheated on tests in High School quite a bit. Poor Mrs. Fogleman. She was clueless. It got so bad in her class that even cheating became a nuisance for me - so I found a solution: I just took the tests a couple days later than everyone else. Fogie kept the corrected tests in the top right drawer and would leave us alone after school to take the tests. Shame on her for not being surprised that I would score higher than Kara Frompke on my American Lit tests!
