Do you have any fun or exciting hobbies?
I’m an avid reader; I also play a variety of strategy and board games. Whenever I can find the time, I love to travel.
If you could be any superhero who would you be and why?
I think I’d have to go with Superman on this one, because the point of being a superhero is to be “super.” From a spread and depth of power, it’s hard to match him.
Have you ever been told you look like someone famous? If so, who?
When I was much younger, I was compared to Chandler on Friends. I’m not sure if it was intended as a compliment.
What is your favorite summer activity?
I love long walks. Summer brings a lot more options to the table in terms of where you can walk in Minnesota.
What is one thing you did as a kid that you should have gotten in trouble for, but never caught?
My official story is that I got caught every time I tried to pull any shenanigans, so I can’t come up with a good candidate here.
Tell us one thing no one knows about you.
I eat black-eyed peas every New Year’s Day for good luck.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
Japan, if only because the food is simply amazing.
If you could have unlimited storage for one thing, what would it be?
Books. The many advantages of digital media aside, I still seem to have a fixation with old-fashioned books.
What is your favorite TV channel?
Does Netflix count as a channel? I like the release approach of dropping an entire season of shows and letting the consumer pace themselves at a rate comfortable to their individual situation.
